Jie Shao

Jie Shao is an artist working in installation and video. Born in Zhejiang, China in 1994. Jie holds a BFA from China Academy of Art in 2016 and a MFA in fine arts program at Parsons School of Design in 2020. In 2015, he attended the International theatre festival in Wuzhen. Group shows include: River’s song at Avenue A Gallery, Tenas falls, MA (2015), CURRENTS at Aotu space in Beijing, China (2015), and Return and recall (2019) and 05181046324143141713 (2020) in New York. Hao Art Fair (2020) and the 5th Art book of China (2020) in Shanghai. He also worked as Installation Director for the Anniversary of China Academy of Art, Hangzhou, China (2018). He co-curated Between here and there at the 25E Gallery, New York (2019).
