Marc Schroeder lives and works in Luxembourg. His artistic focus lies on sculpture that addresses social tension, political fragmentation, and human vulnerability. Using materials like concrete, plaster, and wood, his works are reduced yet powerful, often monumental in form. Schroeder's sculptures challenge systems and reflect on identity, control, and the visible cracks within society.
Artist Statement
My sculptures arise from inner pressure and outward observation. I work with breaks, gaps, and material tension. The form is never decorative - it expresses truth, often raw or uncomfortable, yet honest. I believe art must speak where the world falls silent. My themes are European identity, political paralysis, and social fragmentation - not as a judgment, but as a call for reflection and conversation.
