Sahand Sarhaddi is a filmmaker and visual artist whose work explores history through archives, literature, and photography. A graduate in Theatre and Dramatic Literature from Tehran University and a Berlinale Talents alumnus, his hybrid films and video installations examine unofficial narratives and collective memory.
His works have screened at Berlinale, Ji.hlava, Fipadoc, Kasseler Dok, and more. He is the winner of the 2025 Ethnocineca Shorts Award and 2024 VIDEOFORMES Emerging Video Prize. Sarhaddi is a member of IRDFA and Iranian House of Cinema and has exhibited widely across Europe and Iran.
