Anne Saarinen is a Finnish artist and art teacher who lives in the heart of Central Finland, Jyväskylä. She has studied art education and art history at the University of Jyväskylä, which has given her human-centered foundation for art making.  

Currently, Anne is actively working in the inspiring spaces of Laukaa art studios, where she creates expressive acrylic paintings. Anne's art draws deeply from Finnish nature and Roman mythology combining it to these elements in her works into a multi-level whole. Her paintings take the viewer on a journey into the depths of Finnish forests and mythical stories of ancient times. Anne sees these stories as independent of time and culture.

Anne's work emphasizes the uniqueness of Finnishness, which arouses interest internationally as well. Her works not only depict nature and mythology, but also tell the story of the Finnish soul landscape and nature connection - a story that resonates with the viewer, whether he is from Finland or Italy.
