LIVES AND WORKS
Artist Francesca Rossello is based in Vecchiano, a small city in northern Tuscany surrounded by gentle hills, sea dunes, and history. The natural context always interacts with her art which starts from a profound and dedicated observation of Nature. For this Rossello’s artworks often have a natural feel to them. She works with natural elements carefully picked and selected. Her work re-encodes Nature creating a language.
Through this operation she is able to show what we do not see, what is invisible to our eyes and neglected.
She was born in Pisa in 1992 and she started her art education in 2007 at Second Level College of Arts “F. Russoli” of Pisa. She graduated in 2012 with a specialization in Art and restoration of glass windows. In 2011 she restored the stained glass windows of the Volterra Cathedral, a restoration funded by “The Rotary Club”.
