Camila Rodríguez Triana graduated from the Integrated Arts Faculty of the Universidad del Valle, Colombia. She also obtained a post-graduation at the Fresnoy- National Studio of Contemporary Arts, in France, where she received the prize for the best artistic installation from the Friends of Fresnoy. She is a filmmaker and visual artist. She was selected as a visual arts protégé in the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative 20-22 and was nominated for the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation Emerging Artist Award. She also won the Emerging Artist Award at the Rencontres Artistiques, Carré sur Seine in Paris, France. Her artistic work has been presented in different places such as BAM Fisher (United States), Park Avenue Armory (United States), Salon de Montrouge (France), Kiosko Galería (Bolivia), Galería No Lugar (Ecuador), Festival PROYECTOR (Spain), Museo La Tertulia (Colombia), Museo Civico Giovanni Fattori (Italy), Museo de la Imagen en Movimiento (United States), etc.
In cinema, Camila Rodríguez Triana presented her first feature documentary Atentamente (2016) at FIDMarseille (France), where she won the Renaud Victor Award. Her second feature documentary, Interior, premiered at DOCLISBOA (Portugal), where it was nominated for the Doc Alliance Award. This documentary has also been purchased by WDR-Arte, Tënk, INDEWALL. She is currently working on her first fiction film entitled "El canto del Auricanturi", produced by Mutokino and Gema Films.
