René Meyer, born 1987 in Plauen – Germany, has a B.A. degree in Communications Design (HTW Berlin) - currently lives and works in Leipzig. He concentrates on filigree hand-cut pochoirs, ie stencil graffiti with a focus on complex industrial architectures and urban landscapes. He creates unique pieces with each Pochoir of his series, which he creates variably atmospherically. Steel mills and factories with their complex pipe and staircase labyrinths become icons of an often hidden world. Repetition is impossible and, as in life, there are always new snapshots: brightness, colorfulness reinforces the richness of details of the hand-cut and sprayed motifs.
