Luzia Ribeiro is a visual artist and poet, her work approach issues about the body, the womanly, the city, the memory and unconsciousness. Her work is expressed mostly in video, performances, poetry, photography, sculptures and installations. She uses her visual dreams, child memories, spirituality and observation of society, activating these motifs in poetry and public happenings. She studied in important artistic brazilian institutions such as Escola de Cinema Darcy Ribeiro and Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage. She exhibited in Museu Bispo do Rosário, Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage, Centro Municipal de Arte Hélio Oiticica, despire her works are exhibited mostly in public spaces, squares among all. Luzia made group artworks together with artists as brazilian Cabelo and italian Donato Sartori. She curated and producted exhibitions with her art company Macado Tudo - Arte in progress and was one of the main marchands of constructive brazilian art.
