Ngabira NGABIRA , also known as AFRO NIMBA CREATOR , is a Rwandan poet, singer, and cultural performer dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional Rwandan music through a modern fusion style.
Born in Rwanda, Ngabira began his artistic journey in 2010, working as a poet alongside his twin sibling. Together, they developed a deep passion for spoken word, cultural storytelling, and traditional performance. Their early work focused on poetry rooted in Rwandan heritage, identity, and community values.
As his talent grew, Ngabira expanded into music, combining poetry with singing while playing traditional instruments such as the inanga and guitar. His performances blend cultural rhythm with contemporary Afro-fusion elements, creating a unique artistic identity that connects tradition with modern sound.
In 2016, Ngabira enrolled at Nyundo School of Music, where he studied for three years. During this time, he specialized in traditional music performance and cultural beats, graduating as a qualified cultural and beat performer. His education strengthened his technical skills and deepened his understanding of Rwanda’s musical heritage.
Ngabira performs both as a solo artist and with his twin, delivering powerful cultural shows that celebrate Rwandan traditions. His musical style is rooted in traditional instruments and rhythms, especially inspired by inanga music, while incorporating Afro-fusion influences under the artistic vision of AFRO NIMBA.
His mission is to become an internationally recognized Rwandan artist, sharing unique cultural fusion music with the world and representing Rwanda on global stages.
