A few words from the artist:
Georgiana is a self-taught painter, born June 12, 1989 in Romania in Târgu Jiu. Passionate about traveling since childhood, she left her country of origin in 2009 to study Modern Literature and Teaching French as a Foreign Language up to Master 2.
With a professional background that is the opposite of art, but of a curious nature, she is also interested in painting and continues to learn on her own, encouraged by her family and loved ones.
In 2017 she began to paint her first paintings in acrylic.
Through my works I try to transpose the emotions that the joy of painting gives me in order to share it. I am interested in contemporary modern art, with impressionist and cubist influences, taking as subjects landscapes, flowers or even abstract, geometric shapes. The link that connects my works is the multitude of colors that make them up most of the time, being inspired by nature or by the different places in which I had the opportunity to live such as Lyon, Nice, the city of Amman in Jordan, Reunion, Rennes and others.
My artistic research focuses on a harmony of colors, but also on the play of textures of acrylic paints and the relief that can be given to different subjects, such as flowers for example
