I am a graduate in Architecture and a practicing artist, based in Chennai, India. I am also pursuing Bharatanatyam, an Indian classical dance alongside a study on language of spaces.
Expressing through drawing and painting has been a constant and natural tendency since childhood. In January 2017, guided by a conversation with the art historian Mr. Suresh Jayaram (founder of Gallery 1, Shanthiroad, Bengaluru, India) there followed a year of consciously persevering art. This led to rediscovering the artist within me.
In a steady pace the practice has evolved from storytelling to allowing art, in helping me nurture sensitivity and appreciation for the beauty around, besides keeping in touch with myself. It has now become an integral part of my life. The disciplines of classical dance and architecture also attribute a great deal and refine my work.
