Born in 1991 in Lyon (France), Juliette Rahon is a performer, choreographer and pedagogue based in Leipzig, Germany. Juliette studied Ballet and Contemporary dance at the "Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Lyon", "Real Conservatoirio Profesional de Danza Mariema" in Madrid, and at the "Iwanson International of Contemporary Dance" in Munich.
Since 2014 Juliette has been seen performing in several international renowned Theater and company such as the Opernhaus Zürich, at the Oper Leipzig, Tanzquartier in Vienna, Teatro Sanbápolis in Italy, Schaubühne Lindenfels Leipzig and many more.
Juliette’s choreographic debut started in 2013 when she is invited to present her piece “Jeux“ in Palamos, Spain. 2014 is highlighted with her piece «Between Reality and Insanity», with which she is awarded by the 2. Prize of the choreographic Competition “DanzaFirenze“ in Florence. In 2016 the young choreographer creates her piece „Nomade“ in collaboration with, Gabriella Victoria and Léonard Frey-Maibach two musicians soloists of the famous Gewandhaus orchestra in Leipzig. At this occasion they decide to found the interdisciplinary Ensemble "Juliette Rahon & Co". In 2017 they present "Les Nomades" at the Oper Leipzig. Juliette is as well the choreographic manager of the "Labirynth" project in Bethlehem Palestine. 2018-2019 she creates the piece "1001 Leben“ at the Schaubühne Lindenfels theater in Leipzig, Germany. The piece has been invited at the international dance festival "Abundance International Dance Festival" in Karlstad, Sweden. Furthermore "1001 Leben“ has been nominated for the Saxonian Dance Award among International dance institution. In the Fall 2019, the ensemble is invited at the "Zukunftsforum Cello Festival" in Augsburg (Germany), to present their duet "La Dernière Sarabande - Prologue".
