Qunyuan Wang, born in Songyuan, Jilin, China, currently lives and works in Düsseldorf, Germany. He is a distinguished artist, director, curator, and teacher, and a co-founder of the Kunsthalle Pempelfort art space in Germany.
**Education**
Qunyuan Wang graduated from the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in 2023 with a Diplom degree and the honor of Meisterschüler. During his studies, he trained under Professors Marcel Odenbach, Danica Dakic, and acting professor Lukas Marxt, delving deeply into video art and contemporary art theory.
**Career**
Beyond his dedication to artistic creation, Wang served as a teacher in the preparatory department at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, Germany, from 2020 to 2021, where he taught courses in art history and art theory, sharing his profound understanding and unique insights into art.
