Xingyi
Qu

Xingyi Qu is an artist based in Changzhou, China. Her works includes painting, sculpture, and installation. She holds a BA in Fine Art from China Academy of Art (2021) and an MA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, University of London (2023). Qu’s practice reflects a deep engagement with contemporary life—capturing both coherent narratives and scattered reflections born from observation. Influenced by cross-cultural experiences, she often draws from shared emotional states and societal tensions, responding through visual language. Her work centers on color and spatial composition, using contrast, abstraction, and structure to articulate nuanced psychological and social themes. Qu’s work has been exhibited in galleries and institutions in London, Shanghai, and Hangzhou.
