Lucas Qin (b.2000s) is an emerging young artist based in New York. Born into an artistic family with a strong background in art and collecting, he was immersed in visual culture from an early age. Growing up surrounded by artworks, exhibitions, and artistic conversations, Qin developed a natural sensitivity to image, form, and expression.

His current practice focuses primarily on portrait painting, exploring individuality, character, and emotional presence through close observation of the human face. Through line, color, and composition, Qin is gradually developing a personal visual language that reflects both his intuitive perception and his growing engagement with contemporary portraiture.
