Through the presence of small animals, her work shifts the center of perception away from the human as a fixed point of reference.
In spaces shaped by human history, overwhelming natural forces, and overlooked fragments of the environment, these beings exist without hierarchy or intention.
They do not function as symbols or representations, but reveal perceptual conditions that unfold independently of human-centered meaning, reconfiguring how humans relate to other forms of life and to the environments they inhabit.
Rather than opposing the human and the non-human, her work operates within a broader perceptual field in which multiple forms of life coexist without a single dominant center.
This field opens a space where relationships are no longer structured by hierarchy, but by simultaneous presence, allowing different modes of perception to emerge and interact.
Within this structure, perception is not bound to language, and reality unfolds through layered modes of sensing that extend beyond human cognition.
By shifting the scale of observation, her images reveal a world that exists outside human-centered awareness, where what appears small does not indicate a lesser presence, and what appears dominant does not define the structure of reality.
Her practice questions the assumption that perception is unified or singular, proposing instead a multiplicity of perceptual centers, each operating within its own field while remaining in relation to others.
Adelina is a fine art photographer working across New York, France, and Italy.
Her practice extends across diverse social and cultural contexts as an ongoing exploration of perceptual structures, examining how perception is shaped, displaced, and reconfigured through lived encounters.
Through exhibitions in historically charged spaces, international art platforms, and public institutions, her work engages audiences beyond representation, activating expanded forms of awareness and relational experience.
She was selected through an individual juried application to participate in Art Shopping at the Carrousel du Louvre, where she will exhibit from April 10 to 12, 2026.
She also participates in Anima Mundi – RITUALS 2026, an international exhibition project in Venice, and will exhibit at The London Photo Show at OXO Gallery, London, UK, in December 2026.
In parallel, her work is presented in a continuous series of one-month exhibitions held three times a year within public hospitals operated by a long-established social welfare organization in Tokyo, accompanied by lectures.
From March 2026 to March 2027, her work is also on view at the same organization’s hospital in Yokohama.
Her work will be featured in the Spring 2026 issue of the French magazine Maison & Jardin, in an article by journalist Marie-Agnès.
In September 2025, she published the photobook The Unspoken Dialogue.
