Gail Postal was an elementary school teacher for 26 years. She earned a Ph.D. in Educational Research from Fordham University. She wrote a dissertation titled Developing Affective Aspects of Creative Thinking in Children. She retired from teaching in 1999 and started drawing and painting practically 24/7, 12 months a year. Her work has been in more than 200 solo and juried group exhibitions in museums, galleries, universities and art centers and she has received more than 50 awards. She hopes to be doing this for at least 26 more years.
