LIVES AND WORKS
LIVES AND WORKS
DATE OF BIRTH
Born in 1977 in Nove (Italy), I studied on numerous art books at home. Due to my grandparents, both
ceramic decorators, although distinguished for inventive technique and verve, I began to draw on ceramics,
even though I prefer paper media of any kind for a while.
During my higher studies I was increasingly attracted to the world of illustration and comics. I achieved the
Bachelor's Degree in Cultural Heritage Conservation at the Università Ca 'Foscari in Venezia, on 2003, and I
started a profitable deepening of studies in the ceramic field. I made some articles and publications about
local art and craft history, and I also collaborated on national exhibitions (for example: “Le Ceramiche
Vicentine. Manifatture, artisti, decoratori e modellatori dal 1930 al 1980”, Vicenza, Basilica Palladiana -
Salone degli Zavatteri, 23 settembre – 27 novembre 2005). As rapporteur and art historian, I was called to
represent Italy at a conference held in Chile in December 2010 for the project “CREA: diseña para Pomaire”.
I made various work experiences, as well as a continuous presence in the world of volunteering, alongside
that of journalist, educator and consultant on didactics for the Craftsmen Association of the Province of
Vicenza. This last activity was started at the Civic Museum of Nove Ceramics in 1999, continuing with other
institutions including “Trama Association” of Malo. Parallel to this, I keeped my interest in art, especially
decorative art details found in liberty and deco, in oriental art from Persia to Japan and those of indigenous
civilizations around the world.
Over the past nineteen years, in addition to personal artistic research and the experimental firing technique of
MADEinNOVE group, of which I'm a co-founder, I've been supporting a constant editorial activity with
articles and texts on art, architecture and ceramics. In the last six years I've been organizing and curating
projects and exhibitions at theme in particular: "La ceramica c'è", dedicated to local ceramic artists - June
2015; "Lampi creativi", dedicated to venetian artistic crafts - from April to November 2016; “Extra Murum”
dedicated to Italian contemporary art – from april to september 2017; “inVetro” , dedicated to venetian
glassmakers - from April to May 2018,; "Fuori Casa", didecated to comics, illustrators and graphic designer - from may to june 2019; "Auf Jeden Fall /sensaltro", personal exhibition of Fabiola Scremin - september 2019 and april 2020; "Amor Gentile", dedicated to a collective tematic exhibition - September 2021.
I work between Bassano del Grappa and Nove.
