I have only been drawing for a few months, but it has already become a daily necessity. Every evening I sit at my desk, and it feels like taking a photograph of my emotions and what I perceive in the people I meet.
I use a mix of everything: pastels, markers, acrylics, and gouache, depending on how I feel. Inside, I carry many shadows, anger, and the weight of daily injustices; through painting, I have learned to channel all of this—not to vent, but to transform these feelings into something alive, tangible, and shared.
Sometimes I wake up in the morning, look at the drawings from the night before, and can hardly believe I made them myself. Painting for me is an emotional urgency, the only way I have to tell the story of my days and my shadows.
