Born in Poland - from 1995 she lives in Norway. Educated at National Academy of Fine Art in
Oslo, Norway. She works mostly with installations where photography has important
role. Her installations have eclectic character with references to aesthetics of
museum or Cabinets of Curiosities and operates between cross-thematic and
cross-media art. Nature, natural science, technology, language, human nature
and history are some of the areas confronted with each other by exhibiting together.
Installations can consist of video, photography, ready mades, plants, insects,
dead animals, digital graphics and many other objects. She exhibited internationally
e.g. Norway, China, Germany, Canada, Greece, Thailand, USA. She is professor at
Department of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of South-East
Norway.
