Pituquita

I have a degree in Visual Arts, I specialize in textile art, I build sculptures made of hand-stitched cloth embroidered with small bright plastic. They are anthropomorphic sculptures that suggest feminine silhouettes like the ancient venus, they also resemble the Andean objects found in Peru. Each sculpture has a text where it is characterized, each object has specific powers with which they can grant wishes. These productions I began to build in 2011 and have varied in that historical journey, I'm interested in resignifying those pieces created in antiquity from another approach: feminist (giving value to the female cult object).
