Ilaria Pisciottani,
discovered the existence of videotaping and photography as a child.
She is the creator and founder of the contemporary art group "New Format Art" belonging to the new fluxus movement
Thanks to photography, she exorcises and gives vent to his complex thoughts. Her black and white images, albeit strong and scratchy, do not scream but whisper,
they do not impose themselves but suggest and always capture and excite.
she has exhibited several photographic works in various international contexts including the C.A.R Ruhr Museum in Germany in 2018; the Israel Photo Festival; at the Qlick Gallery in Amsterdam; at the BluBerlin Gallery; At Matca in Vietnam, at the Studio Galerie in Paris, at the GAM in Rome, at the Agorà Gallery in New York and at the Bahrain Embassy in Rome.
Some of his shots have been published in photography magazines such as Digital Camera, Creative Light, 121 Clicks.
Palingenesi is his most important photographic and visual arts work, successfully presented between 2019 and 2020 in several solo exhibitions mostly in the Roman Galleries of Trastevere; Campo De Fiori and Rione Monti and in Paratissima Turin, an important event today in the Italian contemporary art scene.
Her latest photographic project "Recordis" presented in October 2021 in Rome at Palazzo Velli Expo for the Rome Art Week, contained the work "Pure Heart" from which the homonymous short film in the run for the David di Donatello took life, out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival and among the finalists at the Pinewood Studios Festival in London.
