Was born in Moscow in 1994. In 2011-2015, studied at the MGIMO University at the Faculty of International Journalism. In 2012-2013, she took a course of "New Artistic Strategies" at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA).
The artist started participating in exhibitions at the age of 17 in 2011, when she became the youngest participant of the special project called "START" with the personal exhibition called "Wordless confession" in the Winzavod Centre for Contemporary Art. In 2014, she participated in the parallel programme of the European Biennale Manifesta 10 in St.Petersburg. In 2017 the second personal exhibition of the artist called "XVII" took place in VLADEY Space gallery. Pioniker took part in numerous group exhibitions - the most notable one is a special project of The Cherry Forest Art Festival-2019 on the first line of GUM - the group exhibition of selected contemporary Russian artists called "GUM-Red-Line".
Pioniker’s works are based on her personal feelings and experiences: she creates worlds on the verge of fiction and reality, in which the characters, unreal at a first glance, have prototypes in real life. The main method the artist uses is her personal mythology. The protagonist of her works is often herself in various hypostases: for example, a pink bat with large ears and a long tail. Her paintings are filled with symbols, rebuses, and secret cipher crypts, which the artist invites the audience to unravel. Her manner is characterized by scrupulous detailing, "symbiosis" of elements, circlemania (love of circles and circular compositions), and fontmania (love of fonts). The main techniques that the artist uses include watercolour, watercolour pencils and ink, as well as improvised materials - blood, wine, etc.
The artist is represented by OVCHARENKO Gallery (ex-Regina Gallery) and VLADEY Space Gallery and Auction, Moscow. Since 2013, the works of Pioniker regularly participate in the VLADEY auction of contemporary art. Her works make part of numerous private collections in Russia and the USA.
