Paola Piombino (Buenos Aires, 1973) is an Argentine visual artist based in Tigre (Nordelta). Her practice unfolds across three lines—abstract expressionism, bio-art, and pop—with a process-driven focus on materiality and the emotional register of image-making.
Trained in drawing and painting through the Summer Workshops at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (2000, 2001, 2003) and at Escuela Da Vinci (2010), she later deepened her practice at Nordelta Art Studio / Laboratorio Experimental with curator-artist Vivi Julliand, consolidating an exploratory path attentive to techniques, visual communication, and occasional three-dimensional formats.
Piombino has presented work in national and international contexts. Selected exhibitions include: The Other Art Fair (Dallas, USA), Palm Beach Art Fair (Florida), Friends of Art Village (Vero Beach), Vivi Julliand Contemporary Art (Florida/Buenos Aires), and Santo Deco (Nordelta) in 2024; and in 2025, International Art Fair, La Morra (Italy) and Open House Casas (Puertos de Escobar).
A curatorial note by Pedro Roth and Vivi Julliand highlights Piombino’s earthy, neutral palette—rooted in natural pigments—and the persistence of a research-oriented process that steadily strengthens the identity of her work.
