Pandora – Dora Perehazy is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores vulnerability, protection, memory, and invisible connections through textile-based figurative works.
She graduated from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest in Applied Visual Arts. Throughout her studies and professional practice, she explored various media, including illustration, animation, graphic design, and textile-based forms. Her multidisciplinary background continues to shape her approach to creating emotionally charged visual worlds.
Throughout her career, she has worked across different creative fields, including illustration, animation, and visual communication. She worked as an art director at Saatchi & Saatchi and later led artistic projects at the ODD animation studio. Her illustrated works have been selected for international presentations, including the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.
She has participated in a scholarship-based residency program at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sicily, where she currently lives and works.
In recent years, wool has become central to her artistic practice. Through soft materials, she creates figurative beings that explore the relationship between vulnerability and resilience, care and protection. Her works transform familiar forms into ambiguous presences, creating spaces where emotional and symbolic meanings can unfold.
