MOTH is a Colombian artist based both in Belgium and Colombia. MOTH has a bachelor of Art and a bachelor of Law both obtained in Los Andes University -Bogotá, Colombia. MOTH has an LLM in Legal research of Los Andes University and a European Master in Law and Economics (EMLE) of Bologna, Hamburg and Vienna Universities. MOTH has done different Solo Exhibitions of which the last one called Metamorpō’ took place at Remains Gallery -Ghent, Belgium. MOTH has participated in different group exhibitions of which the last ones are Biennale of Belgium The Plinth in the S.M.A.K Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art -Ghent, Belgium, Deconstrucción in Permanente Gallery Bogotá Art District BAD -Bogotá, Colombia, Zomersalon 2021 and 2020 in Kunsthal -Ghent, Belgium, Melgart in the Modern Art Museum of Bogotá MAMBO -Bogotá, Colombia and Transient urbanisms in Centro Colombo Americano -Bogotá, Colombia, amongst other exhibitions.
MOTH was selected participant in the 8 Young Art Hall in El Nogal -Bogotá, Colombia, in the Colombian Cultural Ministry’s Curatorial Project 15 Regional Hall -Bogotá, Colombia and in La Mancha in La Paternal Espacio Proyecto LPEP -Buenos Aires, Argentina.
