For me, drawing and painting have always been groundbreaking in my life. Even when I was a toddler. Painting makes me live and shows me who I am. At first, I did not make free painting my profession, despite a scholarship to study art. It wasn't until many years later, as a graduate social worker, that I found painting again. Experiences that also influence my work. In the course of time, in addition to my later studies in free painting at the Free Art School in Cologne, I have also been inspired by other artists. My view of things, my view of representing things, are still close to my heart. The narrative, mysterious element and the simultaneous search in the special representation of light and shadow, as well as in the depth of the red, blue and black, is important to me in my painting and has therefore been the central theme of my artistic work for several years, expressed in different types of oil painting. I live and work in Cologne (Germany). I am a member of the Crossart-International network of artists and organizer of oil painting courses, especially in prima painting, monotypie ("one picture") and dry brush technique. I have been training as an art therapist since 2019. Kontakt: www.atelier-colorworld.de
