My name is Mónica Pecar, and I am a visual artist currently based on Buenos Aires.

My work focuses on lyrical abstraction through oil painting, exploring the emotional interaction between light and darkness, the layering of color, and the rhythm of color as a visual language.

With a practice developed over several decades, I have exhibited internationally in institutions such as Le Carrousel du Louvre, Paris; the XV Florence Biennale; and prominent cultural spaces in Argentina, including the Centro Cultural Borges and the National Library.
