Geurisae

Park Eun‑jung (alias “Geurisae”) is a Korean mixed‑media painter whose thirty‑year practice bridges Western oil‑painting techniques and experimental materiality. She is currently immersed in her “Sea Series,” a body of large‑scale abstractions that employ acrylic washes, oil‑water repulsion and transparent beads to capture the ebb of memory and the pulse of tidal energy. Park has mounted seven solo exhibitions in Seoul’s Insadong district and received an Excellence Award at the Korean Art Grand Prize. A lifelong educator, she transforms her artist notes into ambient compositions on her YouTube channel “Geurisae,” expanding viewers’ experience from visual to multisensory. She lives and works in Incheon, preparing new works for the 20th Arte Laguna Prize.
