Alexandru Papuc is a Romanian visual artist working primarily with sculpture and installation. His practice explores the relationship between light, transparency, perception, and fragmented corporeality through the use of plexiglass, laser projection, and spatial structures.
Positioned between presence and disappearance, his works create unstable perceptual environments where sculptural form becomes immaterial, spectral, and continuously transforming.
Papuc has exhibited in Romania and internationally, including participation in the Skopje Biennale, Kunsthalle Wien – Contemporary Art 2020, and the Bucharest Sculpture Days.
