Laura Pan is born in Bolzano (Italy) in 1995. In 2016 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice (Italy) and then graduated in 2019 from the Falmouth School of Cinema in England. She is currently living and working between Italy and England.
Laura Pan’s paintings have developed an abstract style, following the footprints left by the European Primitivism art movement of the 21st century, which investigated the spirituality in art. Her creative method is a close and unconscious dialogue between herself and the imminent present in which time is suspended. Primarily there are many bright colours, the coat is sfumato and the mark is rapid, blunt and unsighted.
While Laura Pan’s paintings are a personal abstract language, the opposite is revealed in photographs where the camera enables her to open up to the external world.
In the last years she performed the director role in the creation of the short documentary Panodyssēa (2019) as well as the short film Agape (2018). She contributed actively with her own personal presence in both shootings.
In February 2020 she will held a personal painting exhibition in Bolzano (Italy).
