Alisa Palavenis is a writer, an amateur painter and photographer from Lithuania. Alisa holds a Master degree in Pharmacy and Doctor degree in Chemistry from two universities in Kaunas, Lithuania.
Alisa has started her career in visual art in summer 2019. Her background in art is one year spent at the Klaipeda Adam Brak art school, painting courses in art studios and online, and constant practicing at her home studio. From September 2020 Alisa attends professional drawing/painting lessons, led by the architect Mateusz Modzelewski. She reffers her recent paintings to her unique painting style – Magic Expressionism.
With a background in Pharmacy and Polymer Chemistry, Alisa brings into play her knowledge from applied sciences into the art. Alisa is interested in the creation of textured painting backgrounds, mixing mediums and collage. The chemistry of paints, materials used for canvases and other artists’ tools are topics of her deep interest.
