Andriy is a Ukrainian artist, born in 1966 in Kosiv, western Ukraine. At 7 years of age he moved to Mykholayiv in southern Ukraine. In 1983 he graduated in Fine Arts and he kept up his artistic studies. In 1988 he gained a qualification from the Kosivsky College of Applied Arts. Andriy specialised in Fine Art and handcrafts.
Since then, he has been exhibiting his work in his native Ukraine and nowadays his works are part of private collections in North America, Europe and Asia.
From 1990, Andriy had been working with his father, the prominent Ukrainian artist Mykhailo Ozernyy, awarded with the Finest Ukrainian Distinction for Fine Arts, the T. Shevchencko Award. It was under the leadership of Mykhailo Ozernyy and in collaboration with his wife Tanya Tsaryk that Andriy worked on the project commissioned by the Ukrainian National Theatre, a ceramic panneau located in that building.
The magnificent piece can be admired today at this its original location. Other works commissioned to Andriy include interior design for restaurants, cafes and pubs.
In Chernivtsi, Andriy worked as an artist within the UKR SSR Ukrainian Productive Complex. In 1999, after receiving the prestigious award Artist Revelation of the Year, Andriy decided to come to Ireland to further his artistic career.

10th December 2009 Andriy Ozernyy and Tetyana Tsaryk participated in the group exhibition organized by Ercus Stewart S.C. and Valerie Bruce at the Law Library, Distillery Building. 30% from sales were donated to Irish Educational Trust School Project and Nepal Cerebral Palsy School. Exhibition was launched by the principal of Alexandra College Marian Healy.
10th December 2008 Andriy Ozernyy and Tetyana Tsaryk participated in the group exhibition organized by Ercus Stewart S.C. and Valerie Bruce at the Law Library, Distillery Building. 30% from sales were donated to Irish Educational Trust School Project and Nepal Cerebral Palsy School 21st October 2008 Martin Cullen TD. 19th September 2008 Andriy took part at the exhibition of Ukrainian artists in the Ukrainian Film Festival which was presented in collaboration with the Irish Film Institute and with assistance of The Embassy of Ukraine in Ireland. Irish Film Institute, Dublin.
5 th December 2007 participated in the group exhibition organized by Ercus Stewart S.C. and Valerie Bruce at the Law Library, Distillery Building. 25% from sales were donated to Irish Educational Trust School Project and Nepal Cerebral Palsy School. The exhibition was opened by art historian Patricia McCarthy, INET Patron Dawson Stelfox MBE and Ercus Stewart S.C.

26th April 2006 Exhibition at Triskel Arts Centre organized by the Greater Chernobyl Cause and The Embassy of Ukraine in Ireland to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Chernobyl disaster. Cork.
5th September 2006 To mark the 15th Anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine, the Embassy of Ukraine in Ireland and Iryna Yefremova Charge d’Affaires a.i. organized the exhibition “Ireland through the Eyes of Ukrainian Artists” at the Bank of Ireland. Rita Hughes Director of Hughes and Hughes Booksellers opened the exhibition.
7th December 2005 Exhibition at the Law Library, opened by Ercus Stewart S.C. 33% of sales donated to the Chernobyl Children’s Project International. 2004 – Andriy and Tanya had painted 16 pictures commissioned by Quick Brown Fox Design Agency for the new interior of the St. Anne’s Golf Club, where they are currently on display.
31st March 2004 An exhibition with assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Ireland at American College, Oscar Wilde House. His Excellency the Ambassador of Ukraine to Ireland Mr. Yevhen Pereligin launched the exhibition and presented the picture of Oscar Wilde House to Dr. Donald E. Ross President of the American College.
September 2003 The exhibition at The Green Gallery was opened by Ercus Stewart S.C. Adi Roche visited the exhibition. The Honoured Council of Ukraine Rory McCabe and Second Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in Ireland attended the opening night. 50% of sales donated to the Chernobyl Children’s Project International.
