Read More I am a textile artist specializing in handmade felt, working at the fascinating intersection between art and craft.
My career includes collaborations with renowned brands such as Loewe and Sybilla, the latter of which was awarded the National Fashion Award in Spain in 2015. I have had the honor of receiving several craft awards and being selected for prestigious artist residencies in both Spain and Finland. Additionally, I have conducted workshops at various institutions and art schools in both countries, sharing my knowledge and passion for felt.
My interest in felt was sparked in my youth when I encountered the work of artist Joseph Beuys at an exhibition. This experience marked the beginning of my exploration into the world of felt, leading me to experiment with different types of wool from various sheep breeds. In my work, I always seek a profound dialogue with the material, allowing it to express its own essence and character, beyond personal matters which are also subtly integrated.
