Ademola Ojo is a prolific contemporary visual artist whose works depicts the black identity while raising conversation on the result of European colonisation using oils and acrylic as a medium. His works also narrate the culture and traditions of the traditional Yoruba people.
The black skin and hair are two aspects of the human body that his works explore.
He is a native of the ancient city of Ile Ife in Osun State Nigeria. He studied fine and applied art at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife Osun State. His skill was further honed during his industrial training at the Fagurosi studio in 2018.
