Edyta Olszewska

Born in 1998 in Lębork. I graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. 

I mostly paint and create objects which are link between baroque, ancient mysterious style and minę of a modern man.

I connect most extreme emotions in my works to get as close to the terror and splendour of the baroque style.

Exhibitions:

September 2021 - Wormwood Star at the Facjata Gallery, Cracov.

August 2021 - From south to north at the Kashubian Philharmonic in Wejherowo.

June and July 2021 - I curated a series of exhibitions at the Target Point at ul. Staromostowa - Entering the Void and What should I do.

February 2020 - I organized the first collective exhibition Flowers at the New Era Art Gallery, Cracov

Achievements:

-distinction in 2022 edition of the competition CALL4ARTS, Dystans Gallery in Cracov

-distinction in the Polish competition named after Leon Czółkowski in Bydgoszcz.
