Nushka was born Fanny Moreaux in 1983. She grew up in
Marseille and returned there 10 years ago.
As a teenager, she took up painting as a hobby alongside
her academic pursuits.
She studied painting and drawing under the guidance of
three painters: first, the American Zawacky in Detroit
teaches her the mastery of lines.
Then, Maggie Siner, who remains Nushka’s mentor today,
took her under her wing and trained her in the mechanics
of color.
Back in Paris in 2007, she met Hashpa, who instructed her
in the sensuality of models and the subtlety of composition.
Nushka blends American and European inspirations and
this balanced duality is what makes her brushstroke
unique.
She had solo shows in Paris (Galerie Schwab Beaubourg,
Galerie l’Oeil du Prince), New York (Vassilis Katehis
Gallery), Marseille (Maison Buon) and the Fouquet’s New
York are permanently showing twelve of her paintings in
their private cinema.
