My name is Yulia and I am an illustrator living in Prague. I use different techniques in my works, but most of all I prefer watercolours, coloured pencils, some ink, liners and markers. My work is a visual journey into the world of myths and imagination. In my paintings, I connect fantastical motifs with elements of nature, archetypes, and fragments of everyday reality. I use the contrast between intuitive painterly surfaces and precise lines as a way to express inner states and perceptions. My style is sensitive and symbolic. Each piece is a way for me to explore the relationship between the outer world and the inner human landscape. It opens a space for reflection, emotional reading, and personal interpretation. The paintings function as gateways into an imaginary realm that feels both strangely familiar and quietly mysterious.
