Mobina Nouri is a multidisciplinary artist whose work blends past and present, drawing from
Persian literature, mysticism, and her lived experience as a female immigrant. With academic
training in performing arts, design, and a Ph.D. in Creativity Science, she creates
thought-provoking pieces that explore themes of identity, belonging, and transformation. Her
visual language often merges hypnotic line work with storytelling, offering a poetic reflection on
both personal and universal narratives.
Recognized internationally, Nouri has received multiple awards, including the MOZAIK, Future Art
Award, the Juror’s Choice Award from the San Francisco Women Artists Gallery and de Young
museum and djerassi art residency. She has served as a juror and artist in residence, contributing
to global conversations at the intersection of culture, art, and society. Now based in Los Angeles,
her work continues to challenge perceptions and invite dialogue, positioning her as a powerful
voice in contemporary art.
