From a German family, I was born in El Salvador and spent my childhood and adolescence in Barcelona and in Germany, now living in Berlin/ Germany and Marbella/ Spain.
29 years of experience as an artist and worldwide representations in galleries and on art fairs.
More than 1.800 works; some of them in art collections and in two museums. Two art prizes.
My inseparable companion and main tool, besides the brush, has always been my photo camera that very soon allowed me to create compositions on my computer, which for years have been transformed into acrylic-on-canvas-works on my easel (my second creative phase).
Approximately three years ago I then discovered the WACOM tablet.
The new technologies and my extensive experience in painting, photography, screen printing and gained knowledge of other materials than the canvas complement each other and give rise to new and exciting creations in the field of digital art, which I see as my third creative phase.
I am happy to apply for the Laguna art prize with my newest artwork just finished two weeks ago, THINGS AIN´T AS THEY USED TO BE, mixed media/ digital art, 135 x 200 cm
