I think of myself as a lucky person being able to fulfill the passions I have in life something nowadays is a more uncommon thing to find. From the first years in life my reality paradigm took an abrupt change having a new family at the age of two. I’d struggle to grow in a hostile environment as my country experienced a social struggle in the years of my birth. I am the example of the survival in men thanatoid conduct. From living in the southern province of Ayacucho to moving to the main city and capital Lima. This brought to me a different zone for new opportunities in this new life I have received. So, I had to build my way through a distant environment being from humble and scarce origins and was taken to the epicentre of everything that happened in my country in those times. I had the chance to receive one of the best bilingual education my native land can provide at the same time being plugged with the latest educational appliances to search for new information as my teachings progressed. From the first years in my childhood art and culture was a great aspect for me having my mother as the main contributor for this endeavour with knowledge. I consider art in all its forms a way of exploring reality and being able to see art in many of different activates a person can learn in his time given. Without a doubt art is for myself the apprehension on how to interact with the reality given but also to altered it in different forms. Making painting an uchronic transportation to human history and the ways humanity has driven their own study of reality and the appliance it had it is society stratus. In my early years discovering this classical art I’d encounter the transition between realistic works to a newer comprehension of light and forms a fantastic venture on how to transmit not only situation but also emotions and environments with the colour’s symbology behind. The great step in this study of symbols was the discovering of Symbolist Manifesto and the profound interpretation of sacred text and religious settings and artist can translate to a person. But the most important aspect is the different perceptions you can give with one idea plotted in a composition with different study approaches.During my academic years I’d presence in first person the local artistic scenario and the struggle for upcoming artist to have a place in the market being my country a small market that doesn’t invest in culture as other countries even in the region does. Concurrent I was taken to the contemporary scene that centred in the conceptual and theory idea of a piece of art. That made me wonder between the simplicity and talent a person can provide with his work. Never to forget that a piece of work has to have a uniqueness, a depth elaboration going hand in hand with a refined technique that display an enough skill needed to do the work. I was always thinking what type of work I had to do to bring something new not only with the aesthetics but also with the theory behind. Along the years mythology was a great passion for me reading on the different cosmologies and theologies around the globe. Making me centre on a universal interpretation on the different similitudes and differences humanity had along the centuries going rather on the macro spectrum of human foundation and constitution as social entities. In way making my art focus on how people nowadays see themselves and the place they have inside mankind’s history. Adding expressionist and symbologist elements alongside the compared mythology main theme being able to trace on the profound layers of no so known or defeated stories of various civilizations and the contrasting perspective they had on life. Making an abundant analysis from the distinctive social sciences to even own personal beliefs of God playing with the undoubted duality we individuals experienced.
