I am a self-taught visual artist originally from Georgia, currently living and working in the Netherlands. My main medium is thread, which I braid and layer to create emotionally resonant paintings. I developed this technique myself to go beyond visual depiction — to express presence, silence, memory, and inner transformation through tactile structure and symbolic form.
My work has been exhibited internationally, including in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Lithuania. I held a solo exhibition at De Koninklijke Industrieele Groote Club in Amsterdam and another solo show in Lithuania. In the Netherlands, I won the Steren op het doek competition at Museum Purmerend and was selected as a finalist in the nationally broadcast TV project De Nieuwe Vermeer, where my work was praised by leading museum professionals. In Germany, my work was part of Kunst im Loft, and I recently took part in a group show in Belgium.
Through each piece, I try not just to represent emotion — but to feel it deeply and allow the viewer to enter that space with me.
