A painter based in Japan. Presents work primarily through solo exhibitions at Hiroshige Gallery (Ebisu, Tokyo) and Pinacoteca Gallery (Kanda, Tokyo), and in 2025 exhibited internationally at Art Shopping Paris 2025, held at the Carrousel du Louvre. Since 2007, has participated continuously in group and charity exhibitions at venues including the Mitsukoshi Museum of Art and Spiral Hall.
The work also reaches beyond the gallery: it has been used for the film It Feels So Good (2019), the aloha shirt brand SUN SURF, and the charity labels of Ichinokura sake. In recent years, a growing part of the practice has been teaching and supporting art by people with disabilities.
The path as an artist began in 1985 with an acting debut in the TBS television drama Godohan-san, followed by roles across film, television, and theater. In 1997, formed the rock band VERY VERY IRON, making a major-label debut as vocalist and guitarist while writing both lyrics and music, and released the solo album ninamiho in 2007. The physical sensibility and sense of narrative cultivated through acting and music remain at the core of the painting practice today.
