Taisiia Nikitenko (Tais) is a Russian artist born in the city of Novosibirsk, in the heart of Siberia.
She has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, including a solo exhibition in Volgograd in 2017. Her recent professional achievements in Italy include the participation in the Biennale Milano 2026 ArtExpo at the Palazzo Stampa di Soncino (curated by Salvo Nugnes) and being awarded the International Prize for Visual Arts "Giuseppe Sciuti" as a young artist (Zafferana Etnea, 2025).
Tais pursued studies in various fields of knowledge. However, it was her art education, received at Volgograd Conservatory (Institute) named after P. A. Serebrykov, that turned dreams into reality - a space where one can express their feelings, thoughts, and ideas with color, form, and line, a place where understanding, a language without words, can be found.
From 2018 to 2022, she lived and worked in Saint Petersburg, developing professionally and participating in art exhibitions.
Currently, she lives in Sicily, creating paintings in the style of symbolic post-impressionism: portraits, landscapes, and conceptual compositions exploring the themes of "The North in the South" and the inner and outer world.
