Giang Nguyen is a Creative Director, Designer/Artist, Entrepreneur, Academic, and PhD Student working across disciplines. Rarely spotted in the wild, his natural habitats are at a design firm called Behalf, which he founded and leads, or RMIT University Vietnam, where he teaches digital media. He always explores creative territories, frequently examines heritage/digitality relationships, and seldom gets enough sleep. He is based in Saigon (HCMC), Vietnam.

Giang’s work delicately navigates the border between art and design. His thematic exploration often delves into the mapping of intangible data, the nexus of creative culture and community, historic preservation in the digital age, and the identities of cities and urban environments. His work is expressed through a versatile array of media, including graphic prints, publications, type design, creative coding, and digital experiences, to name a few.
