Studio B Severin explores culture and society by re-designing objects and materials. The studio is based in Berlin and run by the French-German duo Birgit Severin and Guillaume Neu-Rinaudo.
Objects are extensions of our body and mind, making this connection explicit is the aim of the studios design approach.
Based on research, taking psychological, anthropological, and philosophical questions into account, the outcomes are objects which through their function and aesthetic transmit their implicit message.
Their work has been shown nationally and internationally at prestigious museums, biennales, and fairs. The studio collaborates with curators, galleries, and companies while sharing their vision and thoughts workshop and lectures.
Guillaume holds a MA in Social Design (Design Academy Eindhoven, 2013) and a BA in Product
Design (Design School of Nantes, 2007).
Birgit conducted her MA in Contextual Design (Design Academy Eindhoven, 2013). She previously studied psychology from which she graduated with an MA Cognitive Neuroscience (Maastricht University, 2008).
