JuNe

Jurga Nekrasaite aka JuNe.  Originally from Lithuania, where she gained bachelor’s in fine arts, JuNe now lives and works in Oslo, Norway. 

Her work was published in various magazines and sold worldwide. JuNecontinues to build a practice rooted in environmental empathy and poetic vision. 

Her work explores themes of climate grief, myth, and ecological survival through symbolic imagery and emotional landscapes. Rooted in a deep connection to nature and storytelling, she paints dreamlike worlds where swans climb moons, horses, owls, burning fields, and the Earth quietly pleads for renewal. 

Working primarily in acrylic on paper, JuNe creates layered, expressive pieces that blur the line between the real and the surreal. Inspired by the natural world and the urgency of its preservation, her art evokes both beauty and sorrow, acting as both a witness and a call to awareness.
