Born in Naples
on March 5, 1968 since he was a teenager, he shows a passion for drawing and
painting and artistic curiosity also with the experimentation of other
techniques such as watercolor, airbrush, and modeling. He carried out technical
studies and still works in an architectural firm in a professional association
in Milan.
A pupil for a
short period of the artist Tina Jacobs, he attended the Rosetum artistic group
and participated in courses and some group exhibitions at the Velasquez gallery
in Milan.
Introspective
study and analysis of emotional dynamics proves necessary to understand oneself
in relation to the outside world.
In the
manifestation of the expressive art form and in the works, there is a sense of
unease, manifested in the attempt to exorcise unresolved moods or inadequacy.
In a first phase characterized by a rather discontinuous activity, a recurring
sense of loneliness and bewilderment emerges and an attempt to focus on the
artistic and personal path emerges.
A subsequent
phase reveals a different maturation and a renewed creative drive with greater
determination and motivation in the study of the works and the realization of
the works.
A different use
of the media used with the choice of acrylics and enamels instead of oil, and
the different use of colors, now more vivid and more clearly defined, denote a
continuity in the research path and an active presence of the thought of
artist.
The study of man
is deepened, with awareness and introspective research, investigating critical
aspects and at the same time highlighting attempts at response and solution,
with the aim of grasping the well-being of the soul and identifying beauty and
art in the work of man.
The canvas is
integrated with papers, glues, metal cables, ropes, gold leaf, and wooden
strips.
Expressive
freedom emerges in a new geometry of shapes combined with letters and numbers.
The choice of
different materials and the three-dimensionality sought also with the cutting
and decomposition of the canvas to look beyond the physical dimension of the
support, is adopted in order to provide symbolic and at the same time immediate
and communicative keys of interpretation: metal cables to represent strength ,
direction, limit, energy constraint, life, flow; rope for matter,
manifestation, construction, industriousness, work, creation, physicality; wood
for technique, construction, thought, material manifestation of the abstract
concept of drawing, line stroke, and papers for material manifestations.
The research work is also in progress with experimentation
of sculptural forms and objects combined with design such as lighting bodies
and modeling of metal meshes.

manifestation and of what is perceptible beyond matter and beyond reason,
