I’m a Chinese-American artist-photographer. Where my personal experiences and history serve as both an anchor and an echo, informing a practice rooted in introspection, emotional subtlety, and quiet observation. My images exist in the liminal space between presence and absence, where the form becomes a vessel for subconscious memory and lived experience. Through the techniques of motion blur, layered exposures, and multiple stages of abstraction, I dissolve the boundaries of the photographic image, creating scenes that hover between intimacy and curiosity. Influenced by surrealism and contemporary image making, these photographs linger in states of solitude and suspended time, inviting viewers to dwell within their quiet tension. Photography becomes a contemplative ritual, one that traces the shifting fragments of identity as they surface, fade, and reform.
