Martina Musìo is a multidisciplinary artist and designer from Rome whose work bridges sculpture, illustration, animation, and socially engaged art. With a BA in Sculpture from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma and an Erasmus at Bauhaus Universität Weimar, she now studies Global Humanities at La Sapienza. Her research focuses on language—its construction, deconstruction, and role as both medium and material—linking anthropology, history, and politics through sound installations, concrete poetry, and visual experimentation.
Since 2021, Martina has collaborated with cultural associations, civil society groups, and NGOs, including Save the Children, Kreact.aps, and the Italian Campaign to Ban Landmines. Her projects and exhibitions—featured in collections such as the Olivetti Archive—have earned recognition from the United Nations Convention on Cluster Munitions and first prize in the Bacchereto National Poetry Contest. Actively engaged in community initiatives in Rome’s peripheries, she blends artistic practice with social activism and contributes to IMPURE, a magazine exploring art and anthropology.
